My name is Gloria Lum and I have over 25 years of experience playing with and sitting on the Audition Committee at the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Preparing for auditions isn’t rocket science, but it is a highly specific, difficult challenge. I see many students wasting time working on the wrong things, having no idea what the committee is really looking for.

In groups and in one-on-one sessions, I help cellists with practice strategy, repertoire knowledge, and mindset techniques.

While I can’t guarantee you’ll win your very next audition, I will help you feel more confident and satisfied with your preparation and your increasing artistry.
